Calligraphy Master 良寛(Ryōkan)『色即是空空即是色』White,ver Kanji T-Shirt

“Form is emptiness; emptiness is form” is the central teaching of the Heart Sutra, meaning that “all visible, tangible things (form) lack inherent existence and are impermanent (emptiness).”
Ryōkan (1758–1831) was a Zen monk of the Sōtō school, a poet, and a calligrapher during the late Edo period. He did not have a temple of his own, lived a life of simple poverty, played with children, and was beloved by people for his unworldly and serene character.
